After a traumatic experience left her housebound for three years, Bryany joined CYA’s Forging Futures. With support from Izzie, she built confidence through small steps, completed training, and has landed a job.
Cumbria Youth Alliance offers a programme called Bridging Horizons which is being presented in summer workshops for the first time and offered to home-educated young people.
Celebrating 25 years at Westminster, young people gained support from MPs and policymakers. Having supported over 100,000 across Cumbria, the event earned ministerial praise and sparked new funding and partnerships.

In May, Forging Futures 1 was presented at Westminster, showing how trusted relationships, flexible support, and strong partnerships help young people into work. The session sparked national discussion on effective youth
Celebrating the end of a successful first-year pilot for Bridging Horizons, which has introduced Civil Engineering to over 70 young people. With the pilot year ending with a celebration event, and a team challenge.
